Every order includes your unique olive wood chess board, 32 wooden chess pieces in a drawstring pouch, a tub of natural beeswax polish, and a care instructions card. Everything arrives gift-ready.

Engravings are typically positioned in the bottom right corner of the board on the white pieces' side. Size will be proportional to your message length. In some cases the position may be adjusted slightly to ensure the engraving stands out clearly against the natural grain - we'll always make sure it looks its best. If you have a specific request regarding placement or style, just reach out before placing your order and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you.

Olive wood is a natural material that rewards a little care. To keep your board looking beautiful for years:

• Apply the included beeswax every 2–3 months using a soft cloth - this maintains the wood's lustre and prevents drying
• Wipe clean with a dry cloth after use
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat
• Never soak in water, put in a dishwasher, or use chemical cleaners
• Store in a dry space when not in use

Olive wood is one of the most durable natural timbers available. Its exceptionally tight grain makes it highly resistant to the wear and tear of everyday use - unlike cheaper woods that splinter and fray over time. With occasional conditioning your board will remain in beautiful condition for decades, and only improve with age.

Our boards are hand carved by skilled artisans in Tunisia from Mediterranean olive wood - a timber renowned for its beauty, durability, and distinctive grain. Each board is carefully inspected and packaged before being shipped to you in Australia. Engravings made on order in Australia.

All orders are dispatched the next business day. Once shipped, standard delivery typically takes 2–8 business days depending on your location. Express delivery is available and typically arrives within 3 business days. We ship from Perth, WA via Australia Post and you'll receive your tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

We want you to love your board. If for any reason you're not satisfied, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery - no questions asked.
